The home
Three levels, and every one of them earns its place
The ground floor opens to a proper foyer with a powder room, interior garage access and real storage, the kind of entry that absorbs coats, boots and bags instead of pushing them into the living space.
Upstairs is where the day happens. An open second floor with hardwood underfoot, a kitchen built around a large centre island with room to prep and room to sit, and space alongside it for a full-size dining table. A full stone feature wall anchors the living room, and the balcony off it has a natural gas hookup for the barbecue.
The top floor holds two generous bedrooms. The primary has a large closet fitted with custom built-in organizers, which is the theme of the entire house: organizers in the interior closets, organizers in the finished garage, storage treated as something to design rather than something to apologize for.
At 1,238 square feet, storage isn’t a feature. It’s the reason the place works.
